‘Defensive driving’ also known as ‘planned driving’ is a response to today’s road conditions and helps you to lower your risk of accidents and be safer on the road.
Today’s roads are busier than they’ve ever been and drivers now have to deal with not only heavy traffic but also unpredictable, irrational, offensive and even dangerous driving from others. The risk of accidents has increased and in response drivers need to learn and practise a defensive strategy.
Defensive driving is based on effective observation, good anticipation and control. Through our course you will learn to put safety above all else. Our course will teach you how to set a good example to other road users, reduce hostility to lower the risk of hostile incidents and dangerous situations and to never drive in a spirit of competition.
